Have you tried the new Parallels yet? I installed it, only to be told that my serial number wasn't valid, so had to uninstall it and reinstall the old one. Very annoying- you'd think the installer would have warned me before overwriting the old software with a new version I couldn't use!!
Anyway- just been looking at FX Composer. Not sure how useful it would be for writing CIKernel code. Looks like it doesn't support GLSL, and I assume it's very much geared towards doing all those things Apple has disabled in QC- ie full 3D mesh stuff. Looks interesting though.
