Hi
I want to get the most possible out of the waveclock and I can't find anything in the documenation etc. I often VJ to fairly messy/ frequently changing beats so I want to totally master the waveclock and getting it working as best as I can. Note that I have the latest version of VDMX.
Firstly: what do the S and F buttons actually do? This seems to be a bug. The help box says half rate detection etc. But it doesn't do anything! They seem to possibly stand for "slower" and "faster"? It would be a huge help if I could actually switch the bpm up and down by half or double because I notice the waveclock does sometimes get it wrong.
Secondly: what does the silence threshold mean? If the red bar in the gain box doesn't go all the way to the bottom - which it doesn't in most music - does this mean the silence threshold should be pushed up to the lowest point the levels are reaching?
Thirdly: does the "auto" button actually do anything? It seems to be completely superfluous.
Fourthly: is there any way to play the audio through (ie via soundflower) without using the audio analysis? (Not really that important).
Fifthly: is there any way to bump the clock forward or backward a few milliseconds or so? That would be a great feature. I can easily imagine circumstances where there is a lag between the incoming audio and outgoing video.
Thanks for your help in advance! As I said I have scoured the documentation but there seems to be no information on this stuff.
