How can i assign these 4 sliders to one fader on a midi-controller. Selecting/pressing one of the buttons below the sliders should select the corresponding fader and the midi-controller should change the slider.

I would make 4 separate buttons rather than a 1X4 multi-button. Each of those buttons should be "Mutually exclusive with group named:"
Then each slider would have 2 presets. Make a preset on the first slider where the midi fader is synced to control it. Then disable the midi control by unchecking "Sync Slider Value to Data Source Hardware" and make another preset; maybe title this preset "off." Now make both slider presets triggered by the first button (Button), with the first set to "Toggle on Rise," and the "off" preset to "Toggle on Fall." Under the Slider Preset Inspector be sure to uncheck the Value box, otherwise it'll reset to whatever it was when you first set the preset.

Doing this, it works, but I'm getting funky behavior with the soft-takeover of the sliders. Sometimes it works how I have it set (pickup), other times the sliders immediately reflect what the midi fader is set to. Hmmm...
Thanks for the help. It works but not just as expected. Just like you wrote there is a little problem with the midi pickup setting. Sometimes it picks up correctly and on random instances all sliders are jumping to the value of the previous slider(s). Strange...
