Hi everybody,
So; my ability with this program is limited, but I'm doing my best to figure it out. I got a lot of learnin' to do and could use some help. That said:
I'm looking for a way to be able to route mp3's within my laptop into the Audio Analysis tool: I'm relatively ambivalent about the means to get to this; my attempts so far have been with iTunes. I know how to route external audio, but being able to route audio internal to the laptop would be helpful for noodling & experimenting at building fun weirdnesses.
Searching through the forum, I found Soundflower, and while I was able to route iTunes into it, I couldn't figure how to use it as an input for Audio Analysis. If this is the best way to route mp3 within the computer to VDMX5, I could use some help getting it to work.
If there is a different way that would allow me to muck about creating audio-reactive 'scenes', I'm glad to hear it.
A patient and kind-hearted forum denizen offering assistance will be rewarded with my sincere gratitude and good karma.
Have fun,
Dugan
