"Update Preset" button not syncing

Hi,

I'm trying to trigger an "Update Preset" button via Midi controller.
When I right click on that button, it shows Boolean Data Receiver and it allows me to choose which data source to sync. but no matter what source I choose(Midi, key, any other sources)it doesn't work.

Is this a normal behavior or am I doing something wrong?
