Hi all,
so i am using VDMX to control some RGBW lighting, and i've got a few different levels of presets happening.
There's one particular effect i would like to create, which i'm not sure how to approach.
Let's say the Light's Hue Slider value is being modulated by a Sine wave.
what is the best way to "constrict" the range at whichever point it's at?
so if the slider is oscillating between 0 and 1
and it's currently in the Blue spectrum around 0.7, is there a way i can constrict it with 1 control signal between 0.6 and 0.8.. in other words, if the current slider position is (X), then i would like a simple way to set (X) +/- slider envelopes ..
normally in synthesis, i could set the fulcrum point, and then control the LFO amplitude which affects modulation, but it seems like LFO values are mapped to those specific integer values as opposed to being forces of amplitude.
i hope this makes sense, just trying to dynamically set some min/max values based around the current slider position.
