another Serato question

Hi all,
I'm staring to work with a DJ who uses Serato.
From what I read here and other places, the only 2 ways to get any sort of sync info from Serato is either to use a QC patch from Serato Video, or to use Ableton Link from Serato Pro.
I think my ideal scenario would be to use the VDMX Cue list plugin and have all the clips triggering to layers sync'd off timecode.
Any suggestions as to the most simple way of achieving this?

I'm not very savvy with QC, but if i have to learn it I will.

Maybe there is a QC comp that could output LTC to VDMX?
