I want to simultaneously output:
-Six sound files (using a soundcard I purchased)
-MIDI file for DMX(hopefully connected to the audio file - I plan to use DMXIS along with VDMX5)
-Two synced video files
-Live video via usb
Super concerned about system resources, so I want to be efficient. Can I play all of the above simultaniously?
Logic X will play in surround along with MIDI, but it crashes often. My options seem to be:
-Create a Quicktime 7 file with surround via Compressor
-Create a Quicktime 7 file with Quicktime 7
-Have six different audio files and have VDMX5 sync them along with the two video files and MIDI
The tricky part is including MIDI. Do I output a MIDI file from Logic and play it at the same time with all the others?
Thanks
Nathan
