Hi all,
This is a post I have posted on the forums of the specific manufacturers concerned, but because it is VDMX that i am using as the application to tie all together, I thought i'd see if any of the collective brains here might be able to help.
Basically, I am running a Hackintosh with 2 x Blackmagic Intensity Pro HDMI capture cards on.
These capture footage from my MacBookPro over DVItoHDMI cables and work fine.
However, I have encountered a problem when I try to send a "larger" resolution signal out of my MacBookPro than 1920x1080.
I want to try and "capture" 2 x Heads of my Matrox TripleHead2Go card into each of the inputs.
However, the Matrox Card seems to send out simply 2x1920x1080 (equalling one image of 3840x1080) but because they are not in a "recognised" video format, such as 1080i, 1080p etc etc the Blackmagic card does not recognise it.
Does anyone know of a way (either software or hardware) that might be able to convert the TH2G signal into something a bit more friendly for the Blackmagic card hardware?
All help and advice gladly appreciated
Best
PHIL
