Hello!!
I recently upgraded my Macbook Pro Mid-2009 to El Capitan. I know that It begins to be a slightly older computer, but it still works well.
I have a problem with the VDMX performance, however. With a basic template with only two layers, two mediabins and a audio analysis plugin, the video freezes a moment when I send, for example, Jelly.qtz (from QC source examples).
Escapes my knowledge to know if it is a RAM problem (I've 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 on 2,66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) and I should expand or whether I expanded, I will have the problem because the burden is on the GPU (NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 512 MB).
In other words, should I expand the RAM or buy a new computer?
What type of memory requires Quartz Composer and ISF? I intend that it to be my main sources of video.
Thank you a lot!
Zan.
