Hi all,
I was hoping someone could help me talk out a problem I am having with projection mapping.
I currently use a three panel setup, where two of the panels carry the audio reactive vision I've written and the third one is a live feed from my instrument, a reactable.
So Panel 1 is pretty high in the layer list, Panel 2 is a clone of Panel 1, and Panel 3 is the camera input + some fx.
It would be nice to occasionally during a drum fill or synth break change what I am doing visually so that for a brief moment the same single image appears across all three panels. Not three copies of the image but one image with gaps obviously between the panels where there is no mapping.
I had originally imagined I would simply create a new layer and mask out the inverse of the 3 mapped quads, but it seems this is not possible.
I notice there is a QC patch where you can create a mask from 12 manipulable black squares but for a few reasons I am hoping to avoid this.
Is there a way to do this?
