I found a bunch of GIFs i'd like to incorporate into my VJ sets. I realize they load natively into VDMX, but to save on system resources, I'd like to convert them to HAP.
They won't import into AVF Batch Converter, but I can import them into Adobe Media Encoder.
Choosing HAP Alpha doesn't seem to preserve the transparency on GIFs that have it. Is it possible to keep that Alpha channel from the GIF into HAP?
Also, after converting files, I've noticed in VDMX some of the thumbnails for the gifs are skewed, the actual video is not effected, just the thumbnail in media bin. I can go in "Set Icon" for each file manually, but just wondering if anyone has an idea on why they would show up like that in the first place. Here's an example:
Notice how a few of the thumbnails have scanlines that run in a diagonal pattern to the right.
