Hello.
I haven't done VJ work for 4 years, but I've been asked to give it another try for a charity that produces raves for deaf people. LOUD heavily bass driven music in enclosed spaces with a heavy focus on the visuals. Obviously VDMX will be the heart, but I've written a DMX control system which I'm hoping to hook up to VDMX via OSC, and I want to hook up RFID and optical tracking systems also for a showpiece near the end of the night.
Anyway, it'll all be happening in London, probably in a very incredible venue, and I wondered if nearer the time when I have more details (happens in Feb 2013) anyone would be interested in collaboration? As it's a charity thing I'm not charging, but I think they have funds available, but we could discuss that nearer the time.
We have the option to make one off MIDI controllers and other obscure hardware, we can build basically anything. I'm a C++, Obj-C and C# developer who dabbles in Flash when I'm forced to.
One thing we want to do is to screw with people's perceptions of where they are, so get thinking
Been fiddling with VDMX5 for the last 5 hours, dancing around my house assigning presets. Love it
