I got myself a secondhand Ableton Push 1 controller and since i don't use Ableton i needed to get rid of the message on the LCD-screen saying i need to start Live to play…
Now i can start Ableton Live Lite every time to get rid of this message but that's madness.
So i found this Max patch from Adam Murray somewhere on the internet and with that i can send my own messages on the LCD-screen. With it i can clear the LCD-sceen without starting Ableton Live so i made some big screen letters saying VDMX on the LCD-screen.
I'm not that handy with Max anyway so now i have to start the patch everytime and manually enter the message on the LCD-screen everytime i reboot the Push controller.
Is there a way to save the Max-patch as an executable file so that it pushes the messages to the LCD-screen as soon as i execute the Max-patch? Now i have to start the patch by hand and enter the message line by line.
I've attached a photo with the result so far and a screenshot with the Patch from Adam Murray i've modified to get the big VDMX on the LCD-screen.
Any help would be welcome. And perhaps there are more tricks to get VDMX parameters to output to the Push 1 LCD?
