I've been working on a GLSL/QC conversion of the amazing VVVV Superformula shader. It's early days, but much to my surprise (and this is a tribute to the quality of the original code tonfilm, gregsn and sanch came up with), I've managed to get it semi-working.
I'm still not sure how to approach getting the lighting to work, so for the moment I've implemented a very simple 'fake lighting' shading effect. There's a lot more work to be done, but I'm pleasantly surprised I've got it to work at all, given how far over my head the actual maths is..!
Anyway, if you're interested, have a look at the other screenshots on my blog.
One day, I may find a use for all this...
