The addition of shadows to the QC lighting patch is not as exciting as i had hoped. Especially as its not working with iterations or textures with transparency. It also seams to get pretty glitchy when 3d scenes get a little more complex.
I only recently got round to testing a scene with shadows in vdmx and they where unable to render properly. What was displayed looked more like an alpha mask of the original scene...
I was wondering if any one else had success using QC shadows inside vdmx..? is it worth me fiddling to get it to work, do you have a workround? Perhaps its an issue with my hardware (mbp 2.6 - GeForce 8600M GT)
