Hey everyone,
I'm making png's with a very limited color palette, sorta 8-bit looking. When I scale those images up in QC, plugging it into either a sprite or billboard, the pixels are all anti-aliased/blurred. When I take the same png in VDMX and scale it up using the xScale/yScale in the Layer Size & Position window, it initially does the same thing (blurry) until i change the mode to 1:1, after which it seems to turn anti-aliasing off. I am then able to go back to 'Fit', 'Fill', or 'Stretch' mode and/or freely scale the image without the blurriness.
I've also noticed applying different effects to the layer changes the aliasing as well. I guess i'm just sorta confused about how to control the aliasing (if i can)? I'd like to be able to have clean images like the one on the right, when i choose to. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
