Hi,
I'm trying to replicate this effect (http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~traer/tendrils/), without the drawing part, only the behavior of the tendril, using quartz composer. I want to have interactive control on it from vdmx.
Anyone have an idea where I should start ? I was planning to port the processing code into openFrameworks and then hoping to convert it to a qc plugin with vade's ofQcPlugin, but at this moment I'm unable to compile any of his examples, and I'm a total newbie with oF.
I have a basic knowledge of how Quartz Composer works, but I can't wrap my head around how to approach this. I know it's particles with spring physics and inertia... but I don't know how to apply any of these principles in Quartz Composer. I'm aware there's a Spring and Inertia patch, but I don't know how to use them on multiple objects (particles).
Any ideas ?
