Hey!
I'm pretty new to Quartz Composer, so I got a quastion about quartz and the audio analysis in VDMX.
I've made af quartz with a black bacground, and a black cube that flashes every time the volume peaks.
But is it possible to make that quartz do as the audio analysis in VDMX tells it? Så that I can control if it is on or off and control the frequence. Right now, it just detects every sound that the microphone in my computer hears.
In QC, I would create one input splitter that branched to each of my colors I want to change. Publish that input and it'll be available in VDMX. If you sync it up to a filter from an audio analysis plugin, it'll flash to what it pics up from the microphone, like what it's doing now. But if you made an LFO with a sawtooth-like waveform with four "teeth," synced it's time with the current measure position from the clock, you might get the effect you're looking for? I'm extremely new to all this, but can't get enough of it.
