Howdy. I've converted 100's of GB of video clips to HAP to get better playback performance. Unfortunately, none of the editors I use for splitting, clipping frames, applying fx etc will work with HAP. Has anyone found a good, general purpose video editor that can handle HAP? Thanks.
The HAP codec is not suitable for editing. Just like an JPG isn't suitable for editing either. Editing, saving, editing and saving again is not a workflow that is recommended because of the compression over compression over compression. This will degrade the quality of your work so horribly.
