artificialeyes.tv whipped up a quick proof of concept for controlling Vidvox's VDMX 5 with a Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone ( in this case a K750i ) via Bluetooth. VDMX5's easy key assignment system made it a piece of cake to trigger clips and effects. I was at the 2005 Submerge gig and they bluetoothed punters phones when they entered the club – loading on Salling Clicker. Then each person entering took a ticket (like at a deli counter!) with a number on it. When your number came round, you could partake in a little basic VJing while sat at the bar or chatting-up someones girlfriend. All using your bluetooth phone as a controller. But of course the fun didn't stop there. You also take your turn to plug your iPod in to play an old favorite! Very sweet indeed and a great fun night!
Lau,
What you need is the BT Remote Control Tool from Sony Ericsson - http://developer.sonyericsson.com/getDo ... ocId=71480 This will allow you to map the keystrokes you want to the buttons on the phone and to create a bundle you can upload to the phone with the mapping and a custom skin if you so desire.
